Eid-ul-Adha
Eid-ul-Adha is the second of the two official Islamic holidays celebrated worldwide. It honors the willingness of Ibrahim (Abraham) to sacrifice his son Ismail as an act of obedience to Allah. It is marked by the sacrifice of livestock, with the meat divided among family, friends, and the needy.
