Eid-ul-Fitr
Eid-ul-Fitr is the first of the two official holidays celebrated within Islam. It marks the end of the month-long dawn-to-sunset fasting of Ramadan. Muslims celebrate by performing special prayers, wearing new clothes, giving charity, and feasting on traditional sweets.
